Lynch's daybook; blueprint showing coal seams in lower half of Raleigh county. Personal correspondence deals mainly with law practice; politics; the Tidewater and Deepwater Railway companies; appointment as Regent of West Viriginia University in 1887; one ALS from S. B. This is the third accession of the papers of Andrew Nelson Campbell. Mr. Campbell was an attorney in Monroe County, W. Va. He served in the Confederate Army and was a graduate of the Washington and Lee University Law School. He represented Monroe County as a Delegate in the State Legislature, 1872, and was a member of the Board of Regents of West Virginia University. He was, also, Judge of the 10th Judicial Circuit, 1888-1896.
