The collection consists of one box of schedules, rosters, programs, scorebooks, tickets posters and other materials related to the intercollegiate baseball program at William & Mary from the years 1908-2015. The material is primarily divided chronologically, although there is one separate folder containing two scorebooks from the 1920s and another containing tickets to baseball games from the years 1999-2010. A majority of the material was originally published or created by the William and Mary Athletics Department.

This collection contains letters, photographs, and other material documenting Ernest L. Frye's time in the 487th Aero Squadron during World War I. Included in the papers are letters from Frye to his brother and sister describing his fellow officers, reminiscing about friends back home in Oregon, his experience on the Aero squadron baseball team, and other matters. Photographs of Frye along with his fellow officers in the 487th and playing baseball, as well as programs for dances, leave passes, train passes, documents of promotion, poems, a government letter honoring the memory of Frye, and newspaper clippings regarding Frye playing baseball are also included.

During their 2020-2021 season, the William & Mary men's and women's basketball teams played amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. These oral history interviews with players and coaches document their experience with audience restrictions, quarantines, and cancellations, with constant unknowns requiring them to adapt at all times. The men's team also discusses their racial justice initiative, "This Game is No Secret," and the intersection of sports and social issues.

Journal, 1915-1916, of the Knights of Columbus of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois. Includes information on the 1915-1916 season of their indoor baseball team. Entries include a description of the game, names of the players and positions played, name of the opponent, and a narrative summary of the game. Box scores clipped from a local newspaper are often included with the description of each game.

The scrapbook of William & Mary student Paul W. Norton includes photographs, routine correspondence from the college, news clippings, programs, dance cards, and other materials related to Notron's time at W&M. The photographs depict: students and student activities; campus buildings, including the Rogers Hall fire; athletics, including track and field, baseball, and football; Norton's fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon.

Collection contains a football pin belonging to William Kenneth Close (William & Mary Class of 1921). Materials also includes photocopies of William Kenneth Close and excerpts from the Colonial Echo describing the history of basketball, football and baseball at William & Mary and highlights from William Kenneth Close's sports life at William & Mary.
