Scope and content:

Kemp collected books as part of his research efforts. In addition, he edited the Proceedings of the Conference on Industrialized Building following the conference hosted by the WVU Department of Civil Engineering in 1972. The box contains a copy of the conference proceedings, as well as books and ephemera related to the conference and Kemp's research. Subjects include torsion, building construction in the United States, industrialized building, and Kanawha County.
