Kemp wrote the book, Canal Terminology of the United States with student Thomas F. Hahn. This box includes the photographic prints, drawings, engineering drawings and bibliographies to be included in Kemp's book. Subjects include canals, locks, dams, boats, the C&O Canal and the Delaware and Hudson Canal. The following oversize materials were moved to Box 343: three engineering drawings (1978-1999 and undated).
