Kemp authored and co-authored many articles and reports, and chaired committees that generated reports. This box includes facsimiles of some of Kemp's published scholarly articles and conference proceedings, unpublished copies of conference papers and articles, facsimile engineering drawings and newsletters. Subjects include the Wheeling Suspension Bridge in Wheeling, West Virginia; the Weston and Gauley Bridge Turnpike in Burnsville, West Virginia; concrete; suspension bridges; reconstruction of suspension bridges; industrial archaeology; bridge beams and frames; beam torsion; and the research process in a university setting. The following oversize item was moved to Map Cabinet 12, Drawer 10, Folder 2: one clipping (1991).
