Kemp helped document and suggest the restoration plan for the Milton Covered Bridge over the Mud River in Milton, Cabell County, West Virginia in partnership with the West Virginia Division of Highways. The box includes his research and restoration plans, including reports, budget lists, handwritten calculations, computer print-outs, and correspondence. The box also includes the following facsimiles: engineering drawings, maps and photographic prints. Subjects include the Milton Covered Bridge in Milton, West Virginia; the Lower Mud River; the City of Milton, West Virginia, bridge restoration, trusses on bridges and environmental engineering. The following oversize items were moved to Map Cabinet 12, Drawer 12, Folder 1: one engineering drawing (undated), five sheets of clippings (2002).
