1921 June 7 -- Auburn, California, Boutwell Dunlap, to Colonel Thomas H. Dennis, Lewisburg, editor of Greenbrier Independent, regarding the writing of a history of Greenbrier County. He also suggests that O.F. Morton write the history since he (Dunlap) furnished materials to Morton when he wrote other county histories. Dunlap's materials are said to be the largest collection on Western Virginia in America. Also attached is a card Dennis used when running for state senator.
