1870 April 22 -- New York, Alexander Reynolds to sister telling her he is sailing for Egypt, to be Brigadier General in the Viceroy's (of Egypt) service, and taking Frank Reynolds with him to be Colonel of Artillery. He says the family will follow him in the spring, and asks Sally to take care of their mother.
