Includes memorandums of understanding, correspondence, etc. pertaining to the early formation of Agricultural Extension in West Virginia and at West Virginia University. Subjects include family food production, farm forestry, dairy, extension at West Virginia State College, 4-H, County Extension, and more. Highlights include a state legislative resolution related to the Capper–Ketcham Act (1928) and a memorandum of understanding between West Virginia University and United States Department of Agriculture to establish the terms of state extension work (1955).
