Press and Media Activity--Political Cartoons

Scope and content:

Includes pen and ink drawings by a variety of artists for political cartoons documenting news issues of the day including the West Virginia politics, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, World War II, and isolationism, among others.

Twenty-three of these cartoons were used for a campaign booklet advocating Rush Holt's candidacy for governor of West Virginia (1952).
