It should be noted that there exists a gap in the legislative records; thus, Rush Holt's senatorial papers are not represented as completely as those from the West Virginia House of Delegates. For material pertaining to the senatorial years, please refer to the Miscellaneous section of this series, or check the Records of the U.S. Senate at the National Archives and Records Administration.
