Porte Crayon sponsored by the Porte Crayon Memorial Society (1941); clippings regarding John Brisben Walker, David Hunter Strother's son-in-law, and the Mobile Company of America in Tarrytown, New York, an early automobile manufacturer started by JB Walker around 1898 (1958); photograph of Blackwater Falls with Louise Strother Shepard in left corner of picture (ca. 1950s); photocopies of portrait of John Esten Cooke by David Strother and the magazine article that the portrait appeared in (1968); clipping regarding capture of Confederate Colonel Angus McDonald by Colonel David Hunter Strother in 1864 (1949).
