Fragment of a coffee cup showing the Greek temple form of the college seal. Bone china with yellow shield-shaped emblem featuring the sun shining on a greek temple with "1693" written at the bottom. Seal is surrounded by a green and gold cirlce; green and gold lines cirlce the rim. The fragment was found on Canterbury Lane in Walnut Hills area of Williamsburg during a landscaping project in 1987. Cup was used in the campus dining hall during the 1920s. Dimensions: 2 1/8" H, 3 3/4" at widest point; handle is 1 1/2" long and extends 7/8" from cup. Condition: broken fragment, some dirt residue still visible.
