Undergraduate Honor Council Commencement Medallion

Scope and Contents
One nickel medallion given to graduating members of the Undergraduate Honor Council at the College of William and Mary to wear during Commencement. The Spring 2011 Commencement ceremony is the first time the medallion was worn. The obverse of the medallion features the Wren Building with Thomas Jefferson's signature below, and "William and Mary Honor Council" engraved around the edges. The reverse of the medallion features a law scale of justice and "Est. 1779". The medallion is attached to a white ribbon that is approximately 1.5in. long, while the medallion itself is in good condition and is approximately 1.25in. in diameter. Located in Dec Obj S2, SS1.
