One framed certificate of appointment to the William and Mary Board of Visitors for J. Edward Zollinger, Class of 1927 and member of William and Mary's Board of Visitors from 1966-1976, by Virginia Governor Mills E. Godwin, Jr. The appointment was for a term of four years ending March 6, 1970. The seal of Virginia is in the bottom left-hand corner. The framed certificate is approximately 13 in. x 16 in. and is in good condition. Gift of Frances Zollinger White.
