One print of a cartoon depicting a man in colonial costume locked in the stocks with a "I am a Liar" sign nailed to the stocks. Jimmy Carter tells Gerald Ford "We had better watch what we say around here." The cartoon commemorates the presidential debate between Ford and Carter on October 22, 1976, and the cartoon first appeared in the Newport News Times-Herald on October 21, 1976. Approximately 11 in. x 14 in. It is in fair condition. Gift of Edwin C. Tison. Located in Art S4, Box 2, Folder 4. UA 1980.016
