WM Felt Banner with College Seal

Scope and content:

Rectangular green and yellow wool felt banner with .75in. yellow machine sewn border trim along outside edge. Green background with affixed yellow block letters 'THE COLLEGE OF / WILLIAM AND MARY' with yellow college seal (scalloped circle with modern coat of arms and text 'COLLEGE OF WILLIAM AND MARY / 1693') in the middle.The banner is 35.5in. (length) x 17in. (width). Banner is in good condition with a small 1/8in. gouge out of the top border and a 1/4in. length hole in the upper right side. Swem SCRC Purchase. Located in Textiles S1 SS5. UA 2011.552
