WM Silver Cosmetic Compact

Silver tone metal rounded square cosmetic compact with stylized shield featuring a raised image of the post-restoration Wren Building and the text "WILLIAM AND MARY COLLEGE WILLIAMSBURG, VA / FOUNDED 1693." The raised image also features some of the Wren Yard with the Lord Botetourt statue, a cannon, several trees on either side of the building, and a bench. The shield is affixed to the a black enamel circle; the underside of the compact features a matching black enamel circle, but with no emblem. The front of the compact has a small clasp with a double hinge on the opposite side. Inside the compact is a circular pressed cake of blush in rose pink. In the middle of the compact is a hinged piece of reflective metal that acts as a mirror. On the opposite side is a space for loose cosmetic/foundation powder with a rotating metal disk with an open circle on one side and perferations for dispensing powder on the other side. Compact measures 1.75 in. (width) 1.875 in. (length) x .5 in. (depth) and is in good condtion with some minor scratching/chipping of the black enamel on bottom. Swem SCRC purchase.
