United States Soccer Federation Necktie

A blue tie that features a seal of the United States Soccer Federation in the middle on the front, and on the middle on the inside of the back. The tie also has red, white and light blue stripes running diagonally down the top and bottom front of the tie. The stripes also run diagonally across the top and bottom of the back of the tie. There is also a light blue, white and red stripe at the tip of the smaller part of the tie in the back. The back of the tie also has a black tag with a golden clasp. The black tag has "GOLDEN CLASP/ 100% POLYESTER FABRIC/U.S. PAT. NO. 2,990,551/ by PRINCE CONSORT/ PUT SMALL END THRU LOOP LABLE." sewn in gold. Finally, there is a white tag on the inside of the back of the larger part of the tie that reads "WOVEN EXPRESSLY FOR U.S.S.F." The tie measures approximately 28in. and is in good condition. There is an approximately 0.125in. white stain near the top on the front of the tie. There is also an approximately 1.5in. blue loose thread on the back of the tie. Gift of Rene A. Henry.
