Includes notes, concerning register of Pohick Church; newspaper clipping, concerning court record book of Fairfax County; survey, 1841, of tract of land; and plan, undated, of "Woodlawn," home of Nellie Custis Lewis; court records, 1743-1783; and an account book, 1793, of Joseph Birch, keeper of Turnpike Number 2, which has two entries, 9 October 1792 and 13 April 1793, concerning George Washington. 1963 gift from Mrs. Marion S.
