Scope and Contents Four notices from "The United States Dealers' Protective Association and Mercantile Agency of New York City" notifying Shepherd and Patton that they will be placed in their "Annual Book" of delinquent merchants if they don't pay Patterson, Renshaw and Co. Four State of Virginia, Fluvanna County summons for "James A. Shepherd and B.M Patton Partners ... to appear before the Justice of the Peace ... at Columbia ... to answer the compaint of The Household Sewing Machine Company" and the "complaint of Patterson, Renshaw and Company."
