Scope and content:

A 201 file is set of documents maintained by the US government for members of the United States armed forces. Pugh's files include memos and special orders for assignments; December 8, 1945 certificate memo to extend active duty for six months; "Property Turn-in Slip;" items issued to the Chaplains Outfit (September 6, 1945); inventory of "items in the East Rear Office of Chapel #10;" Travel Vouchers and "Pay and Allowance Account" forms. July and August 1945 correspondence about the health of Mary Decker Pugh who had an appendectomy and a nervous condition following the death of her mother. Includes letters from American Red Cross and attending physician about Pugh's wife's physical and mental condition at Walter Reed Hospital.
