January 15, 1968 letter from John M. Steeves, Director General of the Foreign Service, thanking him for his service. January 7, 1969 letter from President Lyndon B. Johnson thanking him for "the outstanding manner in which you have carried out your responsibilities..." Card with United States letterhead and notation "with the compliments of the Ambassador of the United States of America," signed by Douglas McArthur II. Retirement congratulary note from George C. Wortley, Member of Congress, Ret.
