She hopes that he has not been worried by the war. Mrs. Dunbar is living in Mr. Wythe's house, her eldest daughter was married to Charles Champe Carter who lived with Mrs. Campbell and who is buying the [Governor's]Palace. Mr. [Wilson Miles] Cary of Ceeleys has bought the John Carter House, and his daughter Mrs. Carey has gone to live in Mr. Blair's House by Mr. Hornsby's.
