D. Coulling, Danville, 1865 Nov 23; attending Conference; do not know where I'll be assigned. On back: Another letter, from someone who is sick; mentions not knowing where new home will be; Sid wishes you were here; perhaps JDC's wife, to her son, forwarding JDC's letter. 1 sheet. (3) To "Miss Lou", from Joseph W. Shackford, Orange Grove, 1866 Oct 24; remember pleasant hours in your society, especially on the old Mattapony river; many changes since we parted in Richmond a year ago; how is little Sidney?
