These items document the Virginia Law Chapter's participation in and response to the George Floyd Protest Movement. They include an email message to the University of Virginia Law School community and an official statement commenting on events surrounding the movement. Included here, is also a call to action for Law School community to create "a more inclusive and dynamic environment for current and future Black students, faculty, and staff."

- In 2020, Cecilia Brown, an archivist at the Arthur J. Morris Law Library downloaded these materials from the Internet and her work email account. In March 2024, the library formally accessioned them and transferred them to the archive.
