Physical description:

A large glazed ceramic bay horse with four white socks (leg markings) and a white stripe on its face. The horse figurine is painted with a black forelock, mane, dorsal stripe and tail. It stands on four feet in an alert, but relaxed pose. The figurine stands on a slim rectangular base. The underside of the base is marked "Made in Japan." 51. Svaldifari. In Scandinavian mythology, the stallion who begot upon Loki, when temporarily the god of mischief had assumed the form of a mare, the eight-legged horse, Sleipnir, upon which Odin the All-Father rode customarily about the heavens. A gift from Nemattanon, Called Don Luis de Velasco.
