Sub-Series D: Newspapers, 1952/1988

Scope and content:

Consists of newspaper sections dating from 1952 to 1988. Titles include. The Virginian Pilot and the Ledger Star, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and The Washington Post. The sub-series is arranged alphabetically by title. Some of the contents are in fragile condition -- the 1961 Sunday Star article on redevelopment in Washington D.C. and the May 21, 1952 Norfolk Ledger Dispatch.
