Stereoscopic view of furniture secured with contributions and donations orchestrated by a society from Bridgeport, Connecticut to furnish the Connecticut Room at Mount Vernon photographed at an undisclosed location (not Mount Vernon). The furnishings were presented on August 28th, 1876 to Mrs. S. E. J. Hudson, Vice Regent for Connecticut. Photograph by H. C. Tuttle. Text on the reverse provides full description of the fundraising efforts and descriptions of donated items. Note - the description mistakenly references the Front Parlor instead of the Northeast Garret Chamber as the Connecticut Room.
