Cabinet card of 1785 painting of portrait of Eleanor [Nelly] Parke Custis Lewis by Robert Edge Pine [W-78]. The cardboard mount has gold embossed edges and the photographer's scripted last name 'Washburn' and the address '109 Canal Str., New Orleans' are also embossed on the bottom lower portion of the mount. The painting [W-78] was bequeathed to Mount Vernon in 1922.
