Cabinet card of Washington's tomb at Mount Vernon. Several potted tropical plants are in the foreground near the obelisks. Mount Vernon's tomb guard Edmund Parker poses in front of the tomb. The text 'Washington's Tomb. Mount Vernon.' is printed in blue ink on the reverse of the cardboard mount. A handwritten note reads, 'Mt. Vernon, Nov. 23, 95 [1895].'
