Cabinet card of the stable along the south lane with picket fencing. A yellow label adhered to reverse of the cardboard mount reads: Old Brick Barn. Built in 1745 by Lawrence Washington, of brick imported from England, and notable for its peculiar style of architecture and commodious dimensions. Copyright by the Mount Vernon Association.
