Photographed in a studio, the items are labeled "Washington's Camp Lantern, Washington's Knife and Fork, 1776-1783." A penned signature at the bottom reads: "A. Steifel". Research found examples of similarly formatted cartes de visite views displaying 'curious' items from E. M. Worth's "American Museum."
