Respecting work to be done on the vault [New Tomb] at Mount Vernon--Mr. Ball is fishing--can get Mr. Phillips--experience with hydraulic cement and proper proportion of lime and sand. Autograph letter signed, [probably written and signed by someone else] integral cover, torn, docketed by L.L., laminated. Name on original manuscript appears as "J. Skidmore."
