Eliza presents her friend the attached clipping of two words ["that it"] cut from something written by George Washington -- she also attached a small piece of velvet worn by him -- all in thanks for Snow's kindnesses since Eliza's arrival in Boston. Name on original manuscript appears as "Eliza Parke Custis." Autograph document signed, laminated.
