Insists since her debility is coming on, she should go to the Springs or another healthy climate, even if she will be away from Mr. [Bushrod] Washington for a while--will go with her if it suits--Tommy [Blackburn] very ill, must leave and go elsewhere--Kitty [Blackburn] got home safely--should she put apricots in box and send them by stage? Autograph letter signed, laminated. Name on original manuscript appears as "C. Blackburn." Date on original catalog card appears [17]95 June 16.
