Back home after staying with Sally [Brown ?]--stayed in George Town 10 days due to little Christian's illness--glad Kitty [Blackburn] reads to Mr. Wyth's wife--wishes the old gentleman [Wyth] would teach her some geography. Autograph letter signed, integral cover, laminated, marked to go by "Stage," postmarked "Dumfries [ ]," watermarked. Name on original manuscript appears as "C. Blackburn." Date on original catalog card appears [17]95 Feb. 22.
