Lyons Jr. in Richmond, who does business for John Hopkins, gave for the President some public papers "which had been funded by you" -- requests the receipt which was given at the time for the certificates -- please forward it since you must have it. Autograph letter signed, draft, docketed by Dandridge, watermark. Name on original manuscript appears as "B. Dandridge." Not in Writings.
