Washington agrees to continue leasing a tract of land in Berkeley County "adjoining the Town of Charles Town for and during the Term of one Year ..." i.e. Dec. 25, 1787 to Dec. 25, 1788. Whiting shall pay required land tax and "Forty Pounds Spacie, Virginia Currency, ..." to Washington.
