Bushrod writes that he is grateful for Washington's bounty [see Writings, XXXV, 107-108 - Washington's offer of some lots he won in a lottery]--the Colville estate business is finally settled by County Court, but this not binding, so he will seek another settlement--Bushrod will take his wife, Anne ("Nancy") Blackburn Washington up to Berkeley Springs for her health--he encloses an order to be published in England.
