A.L.S. in writing of secretary or someone other than Mrs. Halsted. Signed by Mrs. Halsted with postscript. Newark. She does not approve of adding wood carpeting to rooms as suggested by some other Vice Regents such as Mrs. Farnsworth. Feels as chairman of the furniture committee she should declare that no wood carpeting can be used, only wood flooring. Adheres a swatch of wood border as an example. Asks Hollingsworth to provide estimates for a carpenter to come lay the floor throughout before Council. ER-6, p. 190
