Does not question his wisdom in administration of affairs, feels he has pulled Mount Vernon "out of the mire." Long vacation of Regent complicates matters. Asks if Mr. Blake has a boat and wants copy of his contract with Association. Mrs. Mitchell will be at next Council. Vice Regent Cutts resigned and Mrs. J. Gregory Smith takes her place. ER-18, p. 81
