Enjoyed Mrs. Hudson's account of entertaining President Hayes at Mount Vernon. Wrote Emily Harper, chairman of Finance Committee. Some of Miss McMakin's letters regarding the Regent were destroyed by Miss Harper. ER-18, p. 129
