Lewis Washington (descendant of Augustine Washington, George Washington's eldest brother), through his neighbor Strider offers for sale the Washington family relics: pictures, plate, books and correspondence, especially complimentary gifts to George Washington. Mr. Strider also knows where a "silver camp equipage" is located. Also notes January sales of boat tickets, flowers, canes, photographs. ER-16, p. 221
