A.L.S. Mount Vernon. Received the black walnut washstand-well with bureau and bedstead, four cane seat walnut chairs; four plain gilt cornices for curtains. Boat ticket sales for November total $182.25. There are few visitors and little is sold. Mr. Fisher was here for 8 days, $3 per day. Labor bill is $126.25. Mr. Craig's salary is $50. Mr. Sykes sent $100. Mrs. Mitchell's visit is delayed. Mr. Craig has chills and a fever. She begged the boat captain to secure coal for them. Copies letter from Julia F. Morris who received her letters of thanks for her efforts, but she is pleased to help Mount Vernon. She is not as successful as her cousin, Mary Morris Hamilton, but hopes to have more to send Mrs. Halsted soon. ER-16, p. 209
