This will stimulate interest and remove any doubts of Mr. Washington's intentions. Encloses a copy of Washington's letter so he can see him in a different light. Difficulties in getting Mr. Washington to write letter for Governor Wise and Assembly. Defends Washington's actions - he is under pressures from other members of the family not to sell to Ladies.
