A letter to Mary McFarland from a relative, Martha Bent, dated c. 1869. A letter to Mary McFarland from a relative, M. C. Bent, dated December 26, 1869 concerning Roxa Bent's death. M. C. Bent is possibly Martha Bent. Two letters to Mary McFarland from her brother William Bent found together in an envelope. One letter dated December 12, 1869 concerns the death of one of their siblings. The other letter dated December 17, 1869 describes the ailing health of their sister Roxa.
