Washington Hall at Washington and Lee University is the oldest surviving building on campus, built between 1822 and 1824 as the central focus of "The Colonnade". Designed by local builder and architects John Jordan and Samuel Darst, the three story brick structure features a six column Doric portico and a cupola topped by the original "Old George" statue of George Washington.
