Biographical / historical:

The building originally known as Lee Chapel, now officially named the University Chapel & Galleries, is a National Historic Landmark located on the campus of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Completed in 1868, the Victorian, Neo-Norman brick and limestone structure serves as a primary gathering space, a historical museum, and the final resting place for Confederate General Robert E. Lee and his family.
