The photos in this folder are as follows:
A large cabinet card photo by M. Miley, Lexington, Virginia, and a black and white post card of the same view, circa 1861. Gifts of Laura Figgat.
A color post card published by Moore & Gibson Co., New York and printed in Germany, along with a copy print photo of the same view, circa 1907.

The Stonewall Jackson House is located at 8 E. Washington St. in Lexington, Virginia. It is the only home that Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson ever owned, where he lived from 1858 to 1861 while serving as a professor at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI). Today, the property is preserved and operated by VMI, focusing on Jackson's civilian life, his family, and the enslaved people who lived there.
